Examples of using AHLSORT to perform various file reformatting functions
AHLSORT runs from the Windows or Linux command line.
The general form of the AHLSORT commmand is:
/path-to/ahlsort control_specifications input_file_specifications output_file_specifications
where
- control_specifications
- is the name of the file containing the AHLSORT control cards
- input_file_specifications
- is the name (or names) of the input files and their optional dcb attributes
- output_file_specifications
- is the name (or names) of the output files and their optional dcb attributes
